Ok, so...I've been on an old-school kick recently. I'm in the middle of the downtime between all my favorite shows (everything is ending in May, and none of the shows we follow start up again until late fall), and I'm just about wrapped up with Stargate: SG-1. I was going to watch Stargate: Atlantis next, in order to prep for Stargate: Universe this fall, but I decided to take a drastic U-turn and go back to one of the original shows: Star Trek.
"WHAT!?" you gasp in disbelief. "How can you not have watched the single greatest science fiction show of all time?!"
First of all, I wasn't born. Second of all, I was never into Star Trek that much. I caught a few episodes of all of the other spin offs, including a brief period where I actually followed Deep Space Nine and Voyager, but that was about it. So I decided I'm going to go back and watch the entire sequence of shows, starting with the very first season of the first first show, the Original Star Trek. After that I'll slog my way through Next Gen, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and Enterprise.
In the meantime I'll also finish up Stargate and wait for new seasons of Dexter, True Blood, Burn Notice, and all the other shows we follow.
I've got my work cut out for me. Good thing I have plenty of spare time on my hands!
