Italian Festival in Bulgaria

We totally didn't know about it until yesterday, and we've missed several day's worth of the festival so far. YARGH!

I was really bummed. We saw a banner for it yesterday, only to find out I missed one of the wine tasting days, which was yesterday. /cry.

So today our goal is to head out after she gets off of work and go see what's going on. The festival is continuing until the end of this week, so I still have a few days to go sample some food/wine/stuff :)

What a joke. Not only did they not even market this festival (which, according to the website, had wines, foods, cheeses, etc), the website apparently lieeed! We show up today, only to find out that they closed yesterday (the last day) and while we were there we were looking around and all it was, was about 15 tables set up, and that's it.

Lame! GRRR

What festival was (or supposed to be) that again?

Well, I'm not certain either. Their website is www.italianfestival.bg, but there really isn't that much info posted there. All the advertising they got was a few banners here and there across town. Supposedly they displayed foods and wines, decor, gardening tools and flowers, fashion... But when we walked in today, they were already moving the tables out, so we are pretty much left in the dark.

My biggest complaint was that there were literally only a handful of tables set up, and we only saw a handful of signs around Sofia, just within the last 2 days.

We don't watch Bulgarian TV more than once a month or so, so granted...they might have had some commercials up, but I was really disappointed in the complete lack of information on the website, and the complete lack of scheduling/marketing.
