Well, this is the last week of May. Hard to believe that we are already basically halfway through the year. Summertime is here!
It's been a great year so far.
June is shaping up to be nice. I've already got the first week of the month booked for work, and I've got several other clients on the back burner that I'll possibly use if time permits. I'm increasing my work hours to 6 a day instead of only 4, and I've been making steady progress on the book. I should be to at least chapter 13 by the end of June, if not chapter 14. I'm into chapter 11 now, and should wrap it up next week, leaving me 12 and 13 for June, and hopefully 14 as well. I should also cross the 100k words threshold in June, meaning my book will be roughly halfway completed.
My latest fitness kick is paying off. I've lost my winter weight now that I put my mind to it, dropping 2 kilos in the past week (down to 76 from 78), and I'm shooting for another 2 kilo loss next week to 74 kilos. My goal weight is 68-70 kilos, or 150-155 lbs, and I've had the benefit of learning a lot of over the last year in terms of healthy eating, specifically with the Mediterranean Diet. I adhered strictly to it last week, with no cheating for 6 days, and I lost 2 kilos. Not too bad. I ate tuna twice, and the rest of the time I ate salads and vegetables with some bread, cheese, and yogurt. I also have incorporated steamed buckwheat, which is similar to rice, only with a more grainy flavor, into my breakfast. I drizzle a bowl-full with some extra virgin olive oil, put in some feta cheese, and viola, a healthy fiber breakfast.
